Recently so many friends sent e-mails to me and asked me about the standard of our  British Shorthairs. Most of them wanted to own the best cat. However they always misunderstood the 'standard' and did not know what is the relationship between breeding and written standards. I believe people can learn the philosophy of breeding standards as well as the breeding objective of breeders. Besides science and some physical concerns, there should be some artistic ideas behind breeding cats. There should be many many beautiful cats in the world!
